Maison Louis Latour’s Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru "Les Chaillots" is a stunning example of Premier Cru Pinot Noir. The 'Les Chaillots' vineyard, named for its rocky soil, imparts a unique character, blending the elegance of the Côte de Beaune with a powerful, mellow appeal reminiscent of the Côte de Nuits.

Tasting Notes (Typical Vintage)

• Appearance: A lovely deep ruby colour.
• Bouquet: A generous and complex nose of dark cherry and blackcurrant, evolving into sophisticated tertiary notes of undergrowth and licorice with age.
• Taste: Firm and structured on the palate, with a dense texture, fine tannins, and a backbone of bright acidity that ensures a long, very elegant finish.

This wine has an excellent cellaring potential (up to 15 years). Decant and serve at 15-16°C (59-61°F) to allow its full aromatic profile to unfold.
