The wine displays an intense, dark ruby colour. The bouquet is classic Left Bank, dominated by deep black fruit, blackcurrant, and a distinctive savoury complexity of earthy notes, cedarwood, and fine oak spice. On the palate, it is well-structured and full. The tannins are firm and persistent, providing the necessary backbone for long-term ageing, while the generous fruit core ensures it is rewarding even in its youth after a proper decant.
