Unusually for a Southern Rhône blend, this wine is Syrah-dominant, a decision by Guigal that provides a Northern Rhône structure-more aromatic intensity and finesse. Aged for 18 months in oak foudres, it achieves remarkable harmony.

• Colour: Deep, dark ruby red.
• Nose: A complex bouquet of concentrated dark berries (blackberry, blackcurrant), floral hints of violets, and classic black pepper spice.
• Palate: Full-bodied and generous, with a wonderfully smooth, velvety texture. The tannins are well-integrated and rounded. The palate features layers of fruit and savoury spice, leading to a long, sophisticated finish.
