The DOM. THUNEVIN - CALVET DIVAE is the luxurious red wine from the acclaimed collaboration between Jean-Luc Thunevin (Château Valandraud) and Jean-Roger Calvet. Hailing from the Côtes du Roussillon Villages, this Syrah-dominant blend (90%) is a masterclass in concentration, resulting from low yields on granite and schist soils. With 18 months of maturation in new Burgundy barrels, the Divae is a full-bodied, age-worthy wine that blends New World power with Old World finesse.

• Appearance: A deep, dark, and concentrated crimson hue.
• Aroma: Intense bouquet of ripe black cherry, fragrant violet, licorice, and the signature 'garrigue' spice of the region, underscored by notes of high-quality dark chocolate and new wood.
• Taste: Voluptuous and mouth-filling. The palate is rich and dense, balanced by fine, silky tannins and leading to a formidable, lingering finish.

Food Pairing & Service

This wine requires a minimum of one hour of decanting and should be served at cellar temperature (16°C). It is built for a magnificent protein.
