This makes the Valpantena a remarkably approachable yet profound Amarone.

Tasting Notes

• Colour: Intense ruby red, with a tendency to garnet with age.
• Nose: Profoundly aromatic. Expect lush notes of preserved cherry, spiced plum, and forest fruits, complemented by intriguing tertiary hints of dried tobacco, cinnamon, and dark chocolate.
• Palate: Full-bodied, yet surprisingly fresh and 'breezy' for an Amarone. The texture is soft and creamy, supported by fine, well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and persistent, showcasing purity of fruit and a characteristic bitter-sweet note.

Serving Suggestion

Best served slightly cooler than standard reds (18°C) after decanting. An excellent choice for a Sunday roast or a contemplative evening sip.
