Caiarossa: A Biodynamic Tuscan Masterpiece

Hailing from the Riparbella area of Tuscany, the CAIAROSSA Toscana IGT is the pinnacle expression of the estate's commitment to biodynamic viticulture and architectural harmony (the winery was designed following Feng Shui principles). Classified as a Super Tuscan, this complex red blend-featuring up to seven varietals like Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah-marries the structure and elegance of a fine Bordeaux with the sun-drenched intensity of the Tuscan coast.

Tasting Notes: Elegance Meets Power

This wine presents a deep, saturated ruby colour. The nose is highly aromatic and evolving, offering a superb concentration of fruit and spice:

• Flavour Profile: Intense bramble fruit, blackcurrant, and plum, layered with savoury notes of polished leather, cedar, tobacco, and a hint of wild Mediterranean scrub (garrigue).

On the palate, it is rich and concentrated, with a profound depth of flavour. The tannins are fine-grained and authoritative, providing a long, structured finish that is impeccably balanced by a refreshing, saline acidity. This is a serious, cellar-worthy wine (10-15 years) that demands attention.

Food Pairing & Serving Suggestions

We advise decanting this wine for at least an hour before serving to soften the structure and enhance the bouquet. Serve at 18-20°C.
