The Grand Vin is a masterful blend, primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, sourced from prime deep Garonne gravel plots. The proximity to the estuary provides a unique microclimate, fostering the development of the grape’s signature finesse. The result is a Claret that perfectly marries concentration with the characteristic silky elegance of its appellation.

• Appearance: A magnificent deep ruby to garnet hue.
• Aroma: Elegant and complex, offering concentrated aromas of black fruit-cassis, blackberry-mingled with classic notes of cigar box, fine spice, and a touch of mint.

Food Pairing & Service

Beychevelle is the definitive Sunday Roast wine. We recommend serving it at 16-18°C (60-64°F). For younger bottles, decanting for 90 minutes will soften the tannins and enhance the aromatic complexity.
