Château L'Enclos stands as a superb example of modern, quality-focused Pomerol. Located on the western slope of the appellation's celebrated plateau, this Right Bank gem thrives on its iron-rich clay and gravel soils, which are ideal for producing Merlot of great depth and finesse.

The estate, under the ownership of Denise and Stephen Adams, has been committed to organic farming since 2017. This dedication, coupled with the input of consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt, ensures a wine that is both true to its terroir and impeccably crafted.

Tasting Profile

• Appearance: A concentrated ruby-purple colour.
• Aroma: Rich and complex, offering aromas of blackcurrant, damson plum, and cocoa, followed by the classic earthy, floral notes and a subtle hint of oak spice.
• Taste: Velvety and opulent on the palate. The tannins are fine-grained and well-integrated, supporting a generous core of dark fruit and a lovely freshness. The wine shows excellent structure and the capacity to evolve gracefully over 10-15 years.
