Situated on the clay-limestone soils of Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux, this wine is a superb demonstration of a terroir that borders Saint-Émilion, yielding a quality often compared to its more expensive neighbours.

The wine showcases a masterful balance of concentration and silkiness, a hallmark of the Mitjavile approach. The new oak ageing (often 80% new) contributes to its profound depth and aromatic complexity.

• Colour: A deep, inky purple, indicative of its rich extraction.
• Nose: Intense and inviting, featuring ripe blackcurrant, black cherry, and plum, beautifully interwoven with notes of espresso, toasted spice, and a hint of vanilla.
• Palate: Full-bodied and opulent, yet perfectly balanced by a core of freshness. The tannins are mature and polished, leading to a long, clean, and utterly satisfying finish. This is a Bordeaux that is both powerful and refined.
