Le Clarence de Haut-Brion: A Premier Cru Pedigree for Earlier Enjoyment

Formerly known as Château Bahans Haut-Brion, Le Clarence de Haut-Brion is the celebrated Second Wine from the historic Château Haut-Brion, the only First Growth outside the Médoc in the 1855 Classification. It is a tribute to Clarence Dillon, the American banker who acquired the property, and is crafted to showcase the estate's unique terroir in a style that is approachable sooner.

• Aroma: An expressive bouquet of dark forest fruits-blackberry, bilberry, and blackcurrant-layered with complex nuances of liquorice, pencil lead, and a subtle smokiness derived from its high-quality oak ageing.
• Taste: The wine is ample and beautifully structured, capturing the gravitas of the Grand Vin in a more accessible format. It is defined by its velvety mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a long, pure, and elegant finish with finely sculpted tannins.
