It benefits from the same world-class viticulture and winemaking as its Grand Vin sibling, offering superb purity of fruit and balance.

Tasting Notes & Character

• Nose: An aromatic complexity of black cherry, blackcurrant, and plum, layered with sophisticated secondary notes of licorice, grilled herbs, and delicate oak spice from barrel ageing.
• Palate: Supple and gorgeous, delivering a 'hand of iron in a velvet glove' structure-powerful yet exquisitely refined. The tannins are silky, providing ample body while remaining polished and soft.
• Finish: Long, elegant, and harmonious, demonstrating the classic Margaux balance between generous fruit and smoky acidity.

This wine is built for enjoyment and will pair effortlessly with classic British and European meat dishes. Decanting is recommended, and serve slightly below room temperature at 17°C (63°F).
