Tasting Notes (Typical Vintage)

• Appearance: Intense ruby-red with a subtle garnet rim, promising maturity.
• Aroma: Rich and complex on the nose, displaying dark forest fruits (morello cherry, blackberry), a warm spice profile (cardamom, star anise), tobacco leaf, and earthy, balsamic notes.
• Flavour: Powerful and concentrated on the palate, defined by the pronounced, chewy tannins of Serralunga, which are perfectly offset by elegant acidity. The finish is exceptionally long, taut, and mineral.

Pairing & Service

Given its structure, this Barolo is best paired with traditional British game and rich, fatty protein dishes. Serve at 18-20°C. Decanting for several hours is highly recommended for younger wines.
