Château Larmande - Saint-Émilion Grand Cru - Red - 2023 :
Château Larmande: A Grand Cru Classé of Historic Pedigree
Château Larmande, one of Saint-Émilion's oldest properties with records dating back to 1585, epitomises the classic elegance of the Right Bank. Grown on 20 hectares of privileged clay-limestone and siliceous clay soils, this wine is a true reflection of its Grand Cru Classé status.
The estate’s commitment to quality is evident in its meticulous vinification, which includes maturation in French oak barrels and a portion in terracotta amphorae (since 2018). This process delivers a wine of remarkable precision, softening the texture while maintaining the purity of the Merlot-dominant blend.
