Blason d'Issan is the superb Second Wine from the historic Château d'Issan, a Third Growth in the 1855 Classification. Crafted primarily from the estate’s younger vines, this wine provides an earlier drinking, more fruit-driven experience that remains true to the Margaux terroir. It embodies the appellation's famous "hand of steel in a velvet glove" style.

Tasting Notes (Aromatic Profile)

A wine of great finesse, displaying a vibrant ruby hue and an enticing aromatic bouquet:

• Nose: Complex and delicate, featuring fresh red fruit (raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant) alongside classic floral notes (violet) and an undertone of sweet spice or coffee.
• Palate: Medium-bodied, soft, and exceptionally silky. The tannins are polished and refined, providing structure without austerity, culminating in a fresh, elegant, and fruit-driven finish.

This Margaux is an excellent choice for a Sunday Roast or a formal dinner party:
