The distinct terroir-steep slopes and complex volcanic/sedimentary soils-results in low yields and intensely flavoured grapes, distinguishing it from valley-floor Cabernets.

Tasting Notes

Colour: A deep, rich garnet, indicative of great concentration.
Nose: An intense and layered nose of blackcurrant, dark plum, fresh tobacco leaf, cedar, and a hint of mint/menthol, underpinned by notes of dark chocolate.
